I like watching the Olympics, do you?
Hey there everybody! I hope you’re all enjoying the month of February… I know I am! I’ve had tests, midterms, and assignments galore… but that’s alright, because things like Family Day, Reading Week, and the Olympics have balanced the situation right out.
Two quick things: First, I’m not entirely sure when this weekend’s comic is going to get posted (I’ve hit a bit of a snag with the story, a fork in the road); and second, I’m going to stop using my blog as an update bulletin-board. Like, if I’m going to completely miss an update, I’ll let you know, and type up some soothing and/or self-deprecating words… but otherwise I’d like to keep the blog free of clutter (things like “I’ve started,” or “the sketches are done,” or even “I’m writing this post instead of taking a break”).
I’ve just been looking back, and a crazy proportion of my blog entries are update-related. I mean, once the page is up, there’s not much point in keeping them around. Maybe I’ll start culling the non-interesting ones.
Anyway, that’s all. GO CANADA!

edit: It’s been decided… the culling begins! MUWAHAHAHA! EDIT: I… I just can’t do it. I had 30-odd posts in the trash, but couldn’t bring myself to.. to.. [sniffle] to hit the permanently delete option [sob]! So yeah, all those old “the update’s a-comin’” posts are here to stay. At least until the site blows up (i.e. when I’m capable of designing my OWN site).

February is the only month I’ve updated the correct number times per month this year so I guess it’s OK. Being alone on Valentine’s day, again, was not the most fun. Don’t get rid of all those posts, you have a duty to provide a perfect record forever. You have no idea how pissed off people can get when a tiny “Comic late dd/mm/yyyy” message gets deleted.

I’m not going to lie, that was an abysmal performance on the ice last night… against any other team, I would’ve been okay losing. Seriously. ANY. OTHER. TEAM. But the Americans?! Ughhh.
Well, I’m glad I didn’t get rid of any posts! I guess it can get a little frustrating… I’ve followed a few artists (read: Scott Ramsoomair) who’ve stripped down entire (good) pages just because they didn’t like *one* panel. Actually, I’m guilty of that on my other site. Anyway, my opinion has been changed. Deleting posts is a practice which must be discouraged!
This colonial’s heart lies broken in the wake of your insult. This is what we get for politely asking for independence (yet bizarrely retaining your Queen as our head of state)? I would drop my gauntlet, sir, if only the risk of frostbite did not prevent me from doing so! Sorry.. what I meant to say is: I’m only going to send you CHEAP maple syrup from now on!
